5.  The mom and dad breed May through August. The male emu does not sit on the eggs till 5 to 9 eggs are laid. The emu nest is shallow and is made with leave’s by a bush. The female looses 10 to 20 pounds when she lays the eggs.

6.  The emu habitat is in Australia on grassy plain’s and dry open forest’s.  The climate is warm, dry, and sunny.
