1. Bessie The Bee! By: Sophie and Audrey

2. One day there was a honey bee named Bessie, who loved the outdoors. Bessie was to young to leave the hive says her parents. When Bessie grows up she wants to be queen, queen of all the bees in her hive!

3. Bessie always wished and dreamed of leaving the hive. She made a escape plan and always wanted to leave but even when she got older her parents still wouldn’t let her outside. I wish I could leave the hive…

4. After a while, her parents got older. They grew and grew and they could not take care of her anymore. She had to go over to her aunt Bertha’s room and she was super excited to leave the hive, but her aunts room was in the same hive so she couldn’t leave.

5. She didn’t want to go to her aunts house because she thought she was scary and heard a lot of bad things about her but when she walked up to her door she was surprised with a feast and ate it all up like no bodies business. Then they danced the night away in the sky and had a great time!

6. Her aunt Bertha wanted her to pick up some food in the hive grocery store. She new that Bessie would never let her down so she let her go alone. Bessie walked out the door with my escape plan… Bee-Mart

7. Bessie wasn’t used to flying, and was very nervous to go high, since her room inside of her hive was low to the ground. She saw some other bees but looked a lot stronger than her. She wanted to get down lower but where? She saw some pretty flowers and started to go down to them but didn’t expect the other bees.

8. “Hey what are you doing over here, these are our flowers” exclaimed Sting the head of the bee clan! “You better get out of here or else your dead bee-hind.” Bessie got scared but wanted to smell the flowers really bad but couldn’t get there. She flew towards them but quickly stopped when they got closer.

9. Bessie was confused and thought why did I have to leave the hive. Aunt Bertha was going to be very mad and she just wanted to fall down. Sting and his crew sneaked closer and closer as Bessie’s heart fell to the ground and couldn’t fly. Sting picked her up and took her to his secret lair.

10. Bessie had no power left in her body, she had to get out and found her emergency bee phone in her pocket. She immediately dialed 233-bee. She hoped for her Moms answer she did not want to live with her aunt Bertha, she missed her mom.

11. She got an answer from her mom, “Hello” her mom exclaimed. “Hi mom this is Bessie, I don’t want to live with aunt Bertha, I am coming back home.” Then she hung up the bee phone. Sting and his crew went off to pick on another bee so it’s her chance to leave. Bee mobile Ahh im going to be happy to be home!

12. Bessie walked into the hive directly to her mom. She was relieved to see her Mom with a warm hug.
