7 2.1.6 ENGAGE IN RESEARCH-INFORMED PRACTICE & PRACTICE-INFORMED RESEARCH Research-Informed Practice -Administered survey at PRIDE event -Prevention needs assessment for GLBT community Practice-Informed Research -Attending target focused events -Working one-on-one with clients and assessing needs

8 2.1.7 APPLY KNOWLEDGE OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR AND THE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT Link HIV+/HCV+ clients to medical care Assist clients in the Charli program with developing goals Collaborate with facilities around Roanoke Valley to ensure clients needs are met

9 2.1.8 ENGAGE IN POLICY PRACTICE TO ADVANCE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC WELL-BEING AND TO DELIVER EFFECTIVE SOCIAL WORK SERVICES HIV+ clients and the Law Research/observed affects of the Affordable Care Act on clients Knowledgeable about Ryan White Act

12 2.1.10 ENGAGE, ASSESS, INTERVENE, AND EVALUATE CONT. Organizations/Communities Hosted a World Aids Day and National Youth HIV/AIDS Day testing event at Ferrum College Provide Condoms to local Barbershops, Salons, Schools and organizations

13 FUTURE GOALS Attend Graduate School- Macro Concentration Work in Youth Development Attend Peace Corps
