2. Endangered species Polar bears 1. The polar bear is an endangered specie. The polar bear lives in the arctic region. They have adapted to live and swim on land. They are the only bears that can swim for a long distance and period of time. There habitat is the entire arctic region. They live off shore pack ice, They live there because it allows them to get close to there food source. They are getting extinct because of there environment and global warming of the Arctic melting. The polar bears will remain in the same habitat all year near the ice packs. They are known to live mostly on the southern parts of polar region. They live off some of the summer of the fat in there body's of what they have ate in the winter. There main resources and in the fact that they are becoming extinct is mostly of the lack of the ice which they mostly spends its time on staying close to the shore and hunting for fish or seals. The polar bear is on the top of the food chain so it does not have any arctic animals that may be in the case of predator prey the polar bear is the predator in this case but its resources is what's affecting there extinction I choose this organism because I felt that not many people pay attention to the fact that global warming is what's affecting the environment. And in the path we are heading down now that perhaps the future may not get to see a polar bear because of our ignorance to choosing to make a difference.

3. POLAR BEARS! How does not having Polar bears affect the environment? And not having this organism : If you do not have polar bears it will be another extinct specie and they will no longer exist and that type of species will not exist in the arctic as the polar bear. : If the polar bear is extinct it will affect the balance of the fish and the seals they can be over populated and affect the environment with its problem of no organism eating these, The fish and seal can over populate and can run out of recourses to eat from and it will not stay in the food chain and the balance.

4. How does not having an organism affect the environment ? A polar bear, when all of the ice is melting and it does not have enough ice to hunt.

What's being done to protect the polar bear and how you can help The wild life associations, fragmentation head-on by permanently protecting crucial lands for the benefit of grizzly bears and polar bears such as ice burgs or land that may help it. and other wide- ranging wildlife. They also help protect it by what land may benefit it from and where they currently live or can expand there range. And they give it more room it may expand the size of its population and food that it may help out with. Many of the organizations that help out the grizzly are protecting there ecosystems and there land and try not to expand or take any more of there land away. Scientists are noticing that less sea ice is freezing because our climate is warming. Not only is there less ice, the ice is forming later in the fall and winter. The ice shrinkage of how fast it may form also means that polar bears are likely to swim longer distances to hunt or find mates. polar bears are great swimmers, they cannot survive very long journeys, especially if storms bring high wind and waves. one major storm in the Alaska Beaufort Sea, scientists in a small plane found four dead polar bears floating in open water. Currently, all of the stuff that has happened to them points to the fact that of continued Arctic warming and less Arctic sea ice cover in the 21st century. You can help out the polar bears by volunteering and get license plates or a Permanente endower fund or business partners funds and make a pledge and some other programs like legacy society.

How it became extinct and how to increase the number of its extinction The polar bears started becoming extinct because of the global warming and global warming started when the sun started to heat up because of all of the pollution and all the toxic air gases that go up into the air and create pollutioning global warming and the air is getting polluted because of the communities and population growing larger and larger and more factories are getting in the areas and more pollutioning gets caused cause of the smoke in the air, so that will be the cause of global warming which is the sun heating up the earth and the polar bears living in the arctic means no more ice and the arctic region if this continues. We can increase and stop this from happening if we all start to go green and recycle and make a difference. Everybody can make a difference and there are many choices of some of the communities and programs that can help out and are in with saving the endangered species. So go green and help protect Earth.
