2. introduction I'm going to show you how to connect two peripherals, and give you a few basic health and safety procedures, I have also included also a few tips on ways that it is easier to connect specific peripherals to specific slots which will make it easier for users and less confusion while connecting them.

Health and safety procedures Keep away from liquid Make sure the wire isn't compromised Make sure it is securely fastened into the device Don’t touch the plug sockets or wires behind with wet or sweaty hands Don’t Leaving the wires in the way people might walk to avoid someone tripping over it and dragging the laptop/computer to the ground.

Pictures of me connecting the printer The first thing I did was checking the wire To see if it had been damaged or Compromised, if it is compromised it may have a critical effect on you while you use it Then I inserted the disk to install the software for the specific hard drive, if the disk isn't inserted the software will not be installed, if the software isn't installed the hardware wont be compatible to follow commands sent by your computer or laptop Finally I tested it, to make sure that it works, if it doesn’t work it means that I've failed to either install the software for the hardware, didn’t totally check the wire, incorrectly insert the wire properly, or it may have fallen out Secondly I inserted the wire cable, to insure it fits the socket, then ensure its securely fitted to avoid it cant fall out

5. Installing the driver software This window will pop up when you insert the Disk. Click ‘easy install’ for default installation or ‘custom install’ for advance settings.

6. After clicking on ‘easy install’ it allows you to see what will be software will be installed during this process installation.

7. After clicking on ‘install’ at the bottom right hand side, it will show you a progress bar of the installation at the top of the screen.

8. After the installation is complete. It will notify you and ask for you to move on by pressing ‘next’

9. After you press ‘next’ a window will pop up asking if you like to install the driver or software.

10. Then a second window will pop up asking if you agree with the license of the CD.

11. After you agree with the license, it will inform you that the installation is complete.

12. After the installation is complete it will recommend that you need to restart the computer for the scanner to synchronise itself with your computer.

14. After you’ve plugged in the scanner search for ‘’Scanner and Camera’’ in the control panel.

15. After you have found the “scanner and camera”, it will give you the option to choose what you wish to scan onto the computer.
