3. NCAA has 3 Divisions Division I – Typically large, highly ranked schools with more financial aid available than other divisions. Note: Division I Schools further divide into Division IA and IAA (football only) Division II – Intermediate- level collegiate play with some athletic financial aid available. Division III - Consists of colleges that choose not to offer athletically related financial aid to their student- athletes.

6. HS GPA & ACT Requirement The ACT score required for Division I is based on your GPA. ( See Mrs. Jones in SCC for scale) For example, with a 3.0 GPA you would need at least a 52 sum of ACT scores ( GPA is figured on NCAA required HS courses only). 12. NAIA - National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Every student who plays in the NAIA for the first time must have their eligibility determined through the NAIA Eligibility Center beginning in 2010.

14. Eligibility Requirements for NAIA Schools Graduate from an accredited high school & Meet two (2) of the following requirements: ►Score minimum of 18 on the ACT (composite score) ► 2.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) ► Graduate in top 50% of your high school class
