2 Here’s what it means… A noun is a person, place, or thing. Plural means more than one. Irregular means that it doesn’t follow the rules. So… A plural noun is more than one of a person, place, or thing. To write an irregular plural noun we have to do something different than just add “s”. Here are some common irregular plural nouns…

3 One man walked down the street. Lots of… men walked down the street.

4 One child played outside. Lots of… children played outside.

5 One mouse ate some cheese. Lots of… mice ate some cheese.

6 Let’s try some more practice!
I saw a goose. We saw some… geese! Look at that wolf! Look at those… wolves! My pet fish is blue. I love all my pet… fish! My tooth is gone. I lost all of my… teeth!

7 Just a few more! The moose was fury. Look at all of the… moose! My foot is big. Look at my big… feet! I will roll the die first. I will roll both… dice!
