1 Agenda 2/27/07 Digital Photography Sketchbook Warm Up Explain Photos # 7 and 8 –Remember: This project is meant to be challenging, to help you to figure out how to use these cameras to take creative photographs. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t ask me if you need help—I am MORE than happy to help you figure it out!!! Check your progress! You have 3 more days including today (and Thursday should be spent getting organized). Keep in mind that ONE photograph must be considered a FINE ART

3 Photo 7: Fill-in flash to record a good exposure of the ambient light and "fill in" shadows on the subject. The digital basics website talked a lot about metering Discuss silhouette –Bright Background, Subject in Shadow Get a reading of the background (* button) Then recompose

6 Photo 8: B&W photo with a red filter effect of a landscape that includes sky (and preferably some clouds). Read the Manual!!! Hints: –Use the menu and switch parameters –Be sure to use a red photo filter

10 Photo 9: An interesting photograph that shows a reflection. Photo 10 : An interesting photograph that employs a "Dutch Angle.” – Use approximately a 30 degree angle to shoot a Dutch Angle –Choose objects that are normally horizontal or vertical
