Strategic SIG – draft terms of reference To act as an overall management board for the work of the operational SIGs To manage any financial allocations to the SIG To ensure that all member schools share openly and honestly any school data or other information as agreed by the SIG To receive reports on progress, monitoring etc by the working SIGs To commission any overarching strategies that would benefit SIG member schools The group will share school performance data in common format to include headline data from “My Local School”. Data will be used to drive decisions on the work of the group. The group will agree to share policies, procedures etc. The group will meet once every half term. The group will establish an initial programme for the work of the operational groups. The group will investigate common ways of working to achieve efficiency savings where possible. The strategic SIG will looking at different aspects of school improvement, e.g. self evaluation, teaching and learning, monitoring standards, tracking progress, LNF, L2+ etc.
