3 Intermediary? What are they? Connect students to career opportunities which allow them to make informed educational and career decisions We are the connector between school and business.

4 About the Grant  Iowa Department of Education appropriated $1.45 million for the development and implementation of the statewide network comprised of 15 regional work-based learning intermediary networks.  Preparing and connecting students through work- based learning activities to students

5 Purpose for the Grant Better prepare students to make informed education and career decisions. Provide communication and coordination in order to build and sustain relationships between employers and local youth, the education systems, and the community at large. Provide a one-stop contact point Facilitate the attainment of portable credentials of value to employers such as the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), where appropriate. Develop work-based learning capacity with employers Provide core service programming
