2 Who are these people? What do you think is happening or has happened?

3 Listen to the story of Rama and Sita. Take notes as you will be asked to play/act out different characters. Ask yourself questions: Why is this happening? What do you think will happen next? Why did this character do this? What would you do if you were Rama? How do you think this character is feeling?

4 Memory test: How many of the characters can you remember? Retell the story. What are the main points of the story? Create a comic strip of the story.

6 Why is the story of Rama and Sita so important for Hindus? Discuss the following: What if Rama decided to stay? What if Sita had stayed in the circle? What if Rama had not met Hanuman? What if Ravana had not been defeated? What if Sita refused to walk through fire?

7 Take two characters from the Ramayana. Use the following questions to help build up the character and retell his or her story in a speech: Who am I? Why am I important to the story? What do I do? Why did I do it? Where did it happen? What is the story about?
