2 South-East Cyprus Near the occupied city of Famagusta Near the famous resort of Ayia Napa At the village of Frenaros

3  The school started its life in 1996, while the official opening ceremony took place in 2001  It’s dedicated to the national hero Photis Pittas who fought against the English in the 1955-59, EOKA struggle.

4  There are about 750 students, and almost 100 teachers.  The school curriculum has a wide range of courses, including languages such as Spanish, Italian, Russian, also Math, Biology, Physics, Medieval History etc.

5  The school is involved with another Comenius project, and as we speak, students and teachers from Catalonia, Germany and Finland are being hosted at our school.

6 WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN CYPRUS AND AT OUR SCHOOL GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US AND TO OUR PROJECT: “Volunteers at School”.
