Mrs Lowis (Head of Year 10/RE teacher) GROUP LEADER Mrs Alden (Christian Leader) Mrs Marshall (Deputy Head Teacher) Mr Putman (Geography Teacher) 41 students One guide – Chris Warrington All students are assigned to a member of staff during the trip. At intervals throughout the day, registers will be taken, particularly if the group has been split up during visits etc. Students will be provided with an emergency contact card with the details of the school mobile phone number (which KL will carry at all times) in case of emergency. Students will be asked to give their mobile numbers to Mrs Lowis in advance of the trip so that all group leaders can contact their group if needed.

4 The coach will leave Kings of Wessex at 7am from the bus loop. Our flight is from Bristol Airport at 10.20 (number EZY6275) with EasyJet. We arrive in Krakow at 13.50pm where we will be met by our guide and the coach to take us to our hotel.

15 Back to Home – boo  Our flight out of Krakow is at 11am (local time) flight number EZY6276 We arrive back in Bristol at 12.50 (local time) and therefore should be back at Kings of Wessex by 2.30pm for pick up by parents. Students will be advised to text parents when we have collected our luggage so you know we will be back at school soon.

16 All important details 22 nd February- 26 th February Valid passport EHIC card: –Apply online –Arrives within 7 days –Free to get –Can reduce any costs of medical care Exchange rate is £1 to 5.35 zloty. We would say between £10-15 a day to cover presents, souvenirs and extra food and drink; for example we are provided with packed lunch but some students do buy other food.

17 More important details..! Sensible footwear A waterproof coat Warm Clothing – jumpers, scarfs, gloves, hats. Hoodie – for airport – to be delivered in school nearer the time. (cost in with the price). Hand Luggage – one piece no bigger than 50 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm including the handle, pockets and wheels. Checked Luggage – not exceeding 20 kg Some sort of packed lunch (optional) for travel over lunch time or buy food at airport/on plane

18 Other points Data roaming – look into charges before travelling. Bringing expensive equipment – there is a hotel safe where will we keep passports etc, but it is advisable that students avoid bringing expensive things like Ipad’s etc if not needed – in case of loss or damage etc. Activity book – all students complete an activity/journal of the trip which will be given out on the coach.
