3. Possible reasons why Jesus went outside of Israel to the area of Tyre and Sidon with His disciples: 1. He was tired and He knew His disciples needed rest. 2. He wanted to teach His disciples. 3. He was reaching out to the people of Tyre and Sidon.

4. Jesus casts the demon out of the daughter of the Syro-Phoenician woman

5. Jesus’ response to the Syro- Phoenician woman whose daughter was possessed of a demon: “Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs”
