8 To stimulate interest in knowing about the environment, the local area and intercultural relations. To create the space and conditions required for creativity, encouraging the joy of spending time together. To become familiar with and make use of, information technology.

9 *Knowledge of our territory and environment* Collaboration with our local forestry commission, discovering wildlife and plants(our school is situated near a very large protected forest called Gran Bosco)There has recently been reintroduced the wolf to this area to stabilize the wildlife. *Hydroelectric energy: there is a new power station on the river near our school *The study of astronomy *Acquiring ethical and moral opinions from biological research *Science clubs with laboratories: logical and mathematic games; the scientific study of sound by music instruments; chess Scientific activities in a foreign language, visits to foreigner scientific museums.

14 Individual exchanges (from 5 days to 1 school year) for students in France or Germany with our partner schools. Languages trips (Wien, Madrid, Norwich), class exchanges, and language material swaps.

15 Sport School classes and special attention for student athletes Voluntary work experience at the World Cup Winter Sport finals and the 2006 Olympic Winter Games Winter sports familiarisation courses in collaboration with local Ski Schools School trips to go hiking, climbing, cross- country skiing and snow trekking
