1 CHAPTER ONE - INTRODUCTION TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP Warm Up : Please complete in your Journal Book Define the following terms in your own words: Skill, Personal Characteristics Then provide an example of each. ? Closure : If someone asked you what you learned in class today, what would you say? Please be ready to share. Essential Question : What is more important for an entrepreneur to possess, skill or personal characteristics. Objectives : Students will differentiate between personal characteristics and learned skills. Students will use entrepreneurial skills to create a new innovative product. Students will practice in delivering “30-Second Pitches/Hooks” Home Work : Create a brand new product from everyday items 1 minute Presentation of the creation Must include: The name of the product The features and benefits of the product A profile of its customers (age, gender, needs, interests, etc…) Please apply grading rubric and provide hard copy along with your product.
