3. Origins  The term “ghetto” originated from the name of the Jewish quarter in Venice Italy (1516).  WWII-City Districts in Europe  Germans forced them to live in tough conditions. Children eating in the ghetto streets. Warsaw, Poland, between 1940 and 1943.
