COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL APPROACHES Addresses criminal thinking Three elements of Thinking for a Change: –Cognitive self change (thoughts and feelings) –Social skills (behaviors/body language/verbal) –Problem solving skills (decision making) Starts in custody/cooperation with Sheriff Provided in three locations out of custody (nights and Saturdays) Staff, CBOs and Recovery Coaches have also been trained in T4C as facilitators
