In first person the narrator uses words like I, me, and my. In third person the narrator uses words like she, he, and they.

3 Points of view Third Person Limited Third Person Omniscient
In third person limited the story or passage talks about how one character feels. In third person omniscient the story or passage talks about how more than one character feels.

4 Two bad ants The news traveled through the tunnels of the ants. One of the scouts had returned with a sparkling crystal. The queen took a small bite, then quickly ate the entire thing. She deemed it the most delicious food she had ever tasted. Her happiness made the whole ant nest a happy place. They marched in the woods. The path they followed twisted and turned, every bend leading them deeper into the dark forest. At the edge of the forest stood a mountain, but they did not stop. Up the side they climbed, higher and higher. When the ants came out of the tunnel they found themselves in a strange world. They quickly grabbed crystals.

5 Point of view The point of view of this story is third person. I know this because in the story they used words like she and they.
