5 I. His Death Many men have died. Many men have died a painful death. But no perfect man had ever died, until Jesus. God does not seem to be fair, does He?

6 Verses Eph 2:1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, Col 2:13 And when you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 1 Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive

7 Only Solution Jesus must die. Death is God’s punishment. Death is separation.

9 II. His Resurrection Defining moment in human history. Proves the cross was acceptable with God.
