9 CARS 99 Source Data - Comes from outside of CARS - Is not editable in CARS Example: Entitlements If LEA believes it needs to be revised: -Work with owner of the source data to get it revised. - If revised, may not always be able to load revised data to CARS. CARS – “Source Data”

10 CARS 10 Pre-populated data - Comes from inside of CARS - It is editable in CARS Example: Student Counts, Projected Loaded from prior year’s Student Count, Actuals. Once saved, updates in the Student Counts, Actuals would not be carried forward. If LEA believes it needs to be revised: - Change the pre-populated data, not the data where it came from. “Pre-populated Data”

11 CARS 11 Display Data - Comes from inside of CARS - It is not editable in CARS* - May be a calculated field Example: Low Income Pct on Title I School Allocation, Actuals Calculated from data entered into the School Student, Actuals. * If LEA believes it needs to be revised: - May be able to change in another data collection within CARS.
