2 Chronology You have just put these times into chronological order. From the earliest to the latest. They have been put in order of when they occur. All pupils must be able to put events into chronological order after 0AD Most pupils will be able to outline the difference between BC and AD Some pupils might be able to confidently put events into chronological order using both BC and AD Chronology, timeline, chronological order, AD, BC

4 Sometimes you might see that some dates have either BC or AD written next to them. What does BC mean?

Everything that happened after Jesus was born. e.g. 2014 AD e.g. 43 BC Means 43 before the year ‘0’ when Jesus was born e.g. 2014 AD Means 2014 years after Jesus was born 0
