2  Narcissus is said to have two different sets of parents: Cephisus & Liriope /Endymion & Selene.  He had no powers.  When he died a flower rose up where he died. The flower was later named the Narcissus flower.  It was also said that he had a twin sister who died, and after that he just looked into the water remembering her.

3  Narcissus in Greek mythology was a beautiful young man who fell in love with his own reflection. He was told that he would live a long life if he never saw his own reflection, but unfortunately he became callous and rejected all those who loved him.  He eventually came across his reflection in the lake and became obsessed.  As foretold, his beauty would be his downfall.  He stared into the pond until he wasted away.  The place where he died was the spot that the Narcissus flower was born.
