2 Find A Saurus Fossil: the remains or impression of a prehistoric organism preserved in petrified form or as a mold or cast in rock. Strata: Layers of rock Index Fossil: a fossil that is useful for dating and correlating the strata in which it is found. Hypothesis: If…then…because… - Match up the rock layers by placing the fossils in the corresponding rock layer. Data Analysis: 1- 5 Conclusion power paragraph.
