A true friend in the City must be just and a man of faith To manifest His glory, we must live righteously and be daring under the anointing We are ambassadors because we have been made just. And only a faith walk produces a great work

Why the theme at this time? We face enormous challenges  In the nation  In the family  In business ONLY by FAITH can we win

Why live by faith? It is impossible to please God without it (Heb 11:6) We need faith to live (Hab 2:4, Rom 1: 17, Gal 3:11) We need faith to get our desires and make things possible (Mk 9:23, Mt 15:28) We are saved by faith Luke (7:50) We overcome by our faith (1 Jn 5:4)

What does it mean to be just? To be upright Isaiah 26:7 To be fair minded To be righteous To love God wholeheartedly To walk step by step with God in obedience to His word

Benefits of being just The path of the just is as the shinning light The just is always getting better and better Light appears to the just in darkness

What is Faith?

Faith is not Presumption Willful desire Wishes Contemplation

What is Faith? Loyal trust Standing on the promises of God Confident assurance in the power of God Believing without seeing Acting on the Word of God “Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED for, the EVIDENCE of things not SEEN.” Heb 11:1

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Martin Luther King Jr.

Build your faith You can build your faith by Daily studying the Scriptures Praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 20) Sharing testimonies (Psalm 78: 9 –21) Being obedient to God Serving in His Kingdom Acting courageously on His Word

Know These! Faith works with patience Faith works by love Fear strangulates faith Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the willingness to act in spite of fear. Faith grows when you take the first step Faith sees beyond the physical evidence Faith grows through confession

Focused Group Discussion How can you be just in a world that demands you play smart? Discuss the faith of Abraham. What lessons can you learn from him? (Romans 4 as a case study of Abraham)
