Some of the ways we use videos: for promotion of program for advocacy during the training for teachers for ilustration of standards/indicators/examples for reflection and self-reflection of teachers International STEP BY STEP Association

FOCUS: Observe what the teacher is doing in order to help children reflect on their work and the work of others?

REFLECTION ON VIDEO: Did you notice that teacher: Asks questions that encourage children to think about their learning and achievements Gives children opportunity to choose examples of their work which they want to present

REFLECTION ON YOUR OWN PRACTICE AND OTHER EXAMPLES: Think of other ways you can support children to become skillfull in self- assesment and making decisions about their learning.

WHAT IS THE EFFICIANT WAY TO COLLECT ENOUGH VIDEO CLIPS AND OTHER MATERIALS BEFORE FEBRUARY 15? Review existing videos or video tape new ones – we need good quality Clips shouldn’t be longer then 5 min. Suggest which area/standard/indicator video-clip illustrate Translate (transcript with timer) Don’t forget ‘Context-Focus-Reflection on video-Reflection on your own practice and other examples’ Permission form! International STEP BY STEP Association
