2 Henry was a slave

3 Henry he was owned by an old man.

4 Later the old man was ill.

5 The old man soon past away, he gave henry to his son.

6 Henry worked for his masters son, worked well for him.

7 He walked in the streets and met a slave,her name was Nancy, she was shopping for her mistress.

8 They talked and they agreed to meet again.Later he asked Nancy to be his wife. They asked there masters and they both agreed,Nancy was Henry wife.

9 Soon they had 3 babies. Nancy master lost a lot of money. Nancy was afraid they had to sell their childern.

10 Henry’s friend told him that his family was sold at the slave market, Henry look for his family, he saw them leave. He felt really sad about it.

11 Many weeks past. One morning,he met Dr. Smith, he thought slavery was wrong. He said he would go somewhere with no slaves. (Would mail him self in a box.) Dr. Smith wrote on the box: To William H Johnson. Arch street Philadelphia pennsylvania

12 Henry burned his hand badly. Then he was sent.
