12 I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e AF ROTC Reserve Officer Training Corps Attend a civilian college (>1,100 campuses across US) Participate in AFROTC classes and activities One day per week Pay for school through an ROTC scholarship Three-year and four-year scholarships available Highly competitive Serve 4 years in the USAF upon graduation 12

13 I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e AF ROTC Scholarships Type 1 (4-year) Pays full college tuition 5% of 4-year scholarships are Type 1 Key technical fields: engineering, chemistry, meteorology Type 2 (3- or 4-year) Pays college tuition up to $18,000 per year 15% of 4-year scholarships are Type 2 Key technical fields Type 7 (4-year) Pays college tuition at public school, in-state rate 13
