1. Welcome to AR!

2. Go to the SME Homepage Click on the Students tab. AR and STAR should appear under it. If it goes to the students page, the AR and STAR will be on the left side of the page.

3. Log in as a student

4. Log in The user name is the PIN. Example 66615 The password is the PIN and the first initial of the first name and first initial of the last name. Example: Humpty Dumpty would have the password 66615hd

5. Accelerated Reader Under the Accelerated Reader tab Click on Take a Quiz

6. Select a Quiz Type Check the homeroom. Remember the yellow pencil is a Reading Practice Quiz.

7. Find your Reading Practice Quiz

8. Type in the title, author, or quiz number

9. Confirm Reading Practice Quiz

10. Start the AR quiz

11. Remember! Read all of the answers. If you change your mind, just click on the answer you want and it will circle the number. To go on to the next question, click on NEXT on the bottom right.

12. This is a new program to all of us. We have access to all AR tests! A book may not be labeled AR! Type in the title to see the level and if there is an AR test SME students can take the test! Happy Reading!
