Wright State University & Premier Health Clinical Trials Research Alliance (CTRA) The CTRA conducts clinical trials throughout the Dayton region in a variety of medical disciplines to discover if investigational treatments work and are safe. Our goal is to help patients live longer, healthier lives.

2. Clinical Trials Research Alliance The CTRA combines two of Dayton’s most trusted organizations, Wright State University and Premier Health. Wright State University brings the area’s strongest biomedical research institute, Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, and the Wright State Research Institute, which houses CTRA headquarters and provides collaboration support. To the alliance, Premier Health adds the clinical resources of one of the region’s leading healthcare systems, including more than 100 locations throughout southwest Ohio.
