3. 27 May 2005 Global Skills Village International cooperation and collaboration in VET The Beginning 1.May 2003- Services SETA South Africa and Service Skills Australia held initial meetings 2.November 2003- Further meetings were held and extended to New Zealand. 3.Decision to compare through a mapping exercise the units of competency and qualifications of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. 4.February 2004 – Workshops in South Africa to undertake initial mapping of units of competency in: 1.Hairdressing 2.Beauty Services 3.Funeral Services 5.Additional work continued and a final report was developed.
