My soldier breaks down and cries when times are tough. The tears flow freely, He's too much of a man to say he's not scared, Every minute he's on the line he thinks of when he gets to see us again My soldier is your soldier, he fights for the US everyday Even if you're not thankful and don't say a prayer He's going to stay there and put his life on the line for you My soldier may not come home, but I know his love is here in me and you My soldier.
