1 Who we are Lisbon 14.12.2012

2 Who we are Artists Association of Warmia and Mazury (AAWM) is a non-profit NGO active in the field of non-vocational adult education, recreation of adults and adolescents, actions for the disabled as well as protecting the cultural heritage of ancient and modern ethnic groups of the region, aiming at integration of local government units and other institutions for the sustainable use of the natural resources and cultural heritage.

3 Who we are Our target group are all people living in the region of Warmia and Mazury. We particularly address people who need educational and non-vocational support including the elderly and people at the risk of social exclusion.

4 Where we are located Artists’ Association of Warmia and Masuria is located in a region which is usually referred to as a part of Eastern Poland. It is characterized by great geographical values, healthy environment, unique architecture as well as poverty, high unemployment and existence of great number of people living at the risk of social exclusion, needing support in their social life and self-development.

5 Our past activities Among many events organized by the Association in recent past, the most notable were: I Warmian Christmas Fair in Olsztyn in 2009 Kiermas Warmiński in 2010 Quests as active forms of tourism in 2011 as well as many other cultural events, including foreign exchanges and constructing educational paths.
