2 www.themegallery.com LOGO Background  In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology and Internet application, causing data grow exponentially, the demand for storage is booming.  As a new storage mode, cloud storage has an advantage of high scalability, inexpensiveness, ease of managing remote data etc. and is gaining more attention.

3 Background  However, there are many serious security problems in the existing cloud storage services.  Users trust all their data to the cloud storage service provider, therefore they lost the absolute control of the data.  Furthermore, the cloud storage service providers are often not credible, causing users to worry about the confidentiality and integrity of data in the cloud.

4 Background  So many potential cloud storage users have to turn to the traditional storage service due to the consideration of data security. It largely hinders the promotion of cloud storage services. Therefore, designing a safe and efficient cloud storage service becomes an important research topic in the field of cloud storage.

5 Protocol description  In order to solve the security issues of cloud storage, we propose a cloud storage oriented cipher-text search protocol for cloud storage system.

6 Security Model of Cloud Storage

7 Protocol description  The protocol mainly includes two aspects.  Firstly, In order to ensure the confidentiality of data, the protocol designs a set of searchable encryption mechanism, which supports not only encrypting data but also searching the cipher-text.  Secondly, In order to ensure the integrity of the data, the protocol also designs a set of search authentication mechanism, which allows users verify the integrity of the downloaded data from the cloud data.

9 Framework structure of cloud storage system  The system adopts C/S architecture, composed of two entities: client and server.  The function of the client include: data encryption and data decryption, generating the authenticator and token generation and so on.  The function of the server include: searching data, generating proof value and executing update operation, etc.
