1. BHEL has won the second prize in the Best Enterprise(Maharatna/ Navratna category) Award of WIPS at the recently concluded National Meet in Kolkata. Two of our women employees - Dr (Ms) R. Nagalakshmi, Manager, Welding Research Institute, Trichy and Ms Sangamitra B. Jayant, Dy. Manager ( Quality & Safety), PS-HQ, New Delhi won the first & Second Prize in the Best Woman Employee (Executive Category) Award for the year2013. A matter of pride for all of us!!

2. Shri Amitabh Mathur, ED, PS-ER received the award along with Mrs Sally Masters( Former GM-HR) and BHEL Ladies.

4. Dr (Ms) R. Nagalakshmi, Manager, Welding Research Institute, Trichy won the first Prize in the Best Woman Employee (Executive Category) Award for the year 2013. DG, Scope and Shri Somnath Chatterjee gave away the prizes
