Is there a specific course on ethics and families? Are trainees encouraged to adopted one particular model of family therapy? What internship opportunities are there?

3 Copyright © Allyn & Bacon 2003 Once you’ve begun training: You may be encouraged to conform to a specific therapeutic model. It’s not a bad way to anchor yourself to systems thinking. Later, you can modify your approach to suit your style and the population you serve.

4 Copyright © Allyn & Bacon 2003 Post-graduate training issues to consider: Far too many discontinue post-graduate training before they’ve mastered their craft. Those who do so tend not to be very competent therapists.
