4 During the pre-planning session my client and I discussed what we would talk about in the CCFC. When the actual CCFC occurred, the family member wanted to talk about other issues that were not on the agenda. How do I make sure that we follow the agenda?

6 I have had a few CCFC’s scheduled and right before they were to occur the family or consumer have cancelled them. How should I deal with this when it keeps occurring with the same people?

8 We had an individual with a housing goal. He was placed in a CR on an AOT order and we discussed getting a med hold and moving into the next phase. At the CFCC he shared with his parents a different story. He wished they would take him back home with them. They said no, that his recovery was about living independently and finding work or study. We found ourselves supporting the family position, but realizing this was not a person centered position in that it was not what he wanted, though it was in his best interest. I wondered if that a still CFCC. It was important and did contribute to him being able to move on (in his head).

10 In one particular CCFC The family member kept talking about their feelings and it was hard to get them to talk about what was on the agenda. I felt like the CCFC was turning into a family therapy session and I wasn’t in control.

12 During a CCFC I was following the format and I ended up spending way too much time on the connecting phase. As a results I ended up running over the one hour time frame. How do I complete CCFCs in a timely manner?

14 I had a CCFC where I was dealing with difficult family members. The family members became hostile with each other and with me. I was unsure how to handle the crisis intervention during the CCFC.
