1. Palestinian History Palestine has been settled continuously for thousands of years. In 333BC. Conquest of Persia by Alexander the great brings Palestine under Greek rule. After Alexander the Great died the Roman Empire took over Palestine. Then after that era Palestine was under Byzantine rule which brought even more Christianity to Palestine. Then while under Byzantine rule Arabs captured Palestine. Although Palestine has had several rulers they have still maintained their own identity.

2. Palestine & Israel Palestine and Israel have been fighting for as long as anyone can remember. Palestinians Israel because of the land that Israel took, without warning.

3. Current Leaders Mahmoud Abbas is the current president of Palestine. Ahmed Qurei is the former prime minister.
