One Sunday, John is praying, and God gives a vision to him. John is commanded to write down what he has seen. The main theme of the book is to provide a vision of God’s ultimate purpose for humanity. God is the sovereign over human history. Jesus Christ will conquer Satan and save humanity. There will be a new heaven and a new earth.
