Barr, MotorolaSlide 2 Summary Starting to look like 802.15.3a Two days of response to confirmation no comments –Unique attempt to take straw polls on soft issues –Used straw poll information as rationale for requesting delay in 2nd confirmation vote (failed) Attempt to adjourn meeting to avoid 2nd confirmation vote (failed) –Roll call on adjourn spanned Wednesday PM2 and Thursday PM1 sessions Attempt to delay motion to proceed to 2nd confirmation vote indefinitely –It was a MI approved on Monday with special orders of the day fixing confirmation vote for 1:30 on Thursday –After multiple motions and numerous points of order, the chair was ruled out of order for presenting the original motion and the confirmation vote was taken. 2nd Confirmation vote failed: Less than 50% for confirmation –Process reverts back to considering last three proposals in July
