Overview  Evaluate all incident support processes  What's working great  What processes should be changed  What automated tools should be changed/integrated  Goal is to identify areas of efficiency, encourage consistency, and ensure ease of use  Deliver final, validated report by early CY06  Coordinate with FS IBP long term strategic project

10. Near Term  Contractor has interview questions & process developed  Currently developing the “as is” infrastructure, automation and documented processes  Meeting with FS IBP contractor for coordination/collaboration  Establishing website for info sharing  Developing communication products

11.  Anticipate beginning interviews within next several weeks – payment centers, other static locations.  Will begin IMT interviews as Southern or SW season begins, and continue throughout summer.

15. 2005 Logistics Highlights  Implements Supply Request Functionality –Implements use of the NFES Catalog –Ability to add non-NFES supply items to inventory  Reassign Multiple Resources –Occurs when 2 dispatch offices agree to reassign 1 or more resources in a single transaction. –Requests are automatically created, selected resources reassigned, and travel completed.
