1. The small dog walked to the end of the driveway and faced a decision. He could take off and try to catch up to his friend Billy on his way to school OR he could go back where the backyard met the forest and go on an exploring expedition. What will he do Go after Billy

2. The small dog decided to go into the forest to explore. When he got into the forest he found a little baby bear. He started to play with it. He herd something coming towards him and it was the momma bear. The momma bear was not happy. So he ran as fast as he could to the creek.

3. When he got to the creek he found some little Muskrats. He made friends with the muskrats and then they started to play. They went and played in the water for an hour, until the mom came around. The mom chased him off. So then he ran to the biggest tree he could find.

4. When he got to the Tree he found new friends that were chipmunks. They started to play by tossing acorns at each other. Then all of a sudden they herd a wolf howl and then it was right there. They started to run away and then the wolf caught the chipmunk. He tried to find somewhere to go but there was nowhere to hide. Then he saw a fox den. He decided to go into the den.

5. When he went into the fox den he saw a little baby fox all by himself. The fox said that he did not have a family so the dog said that he would take him home. They started their adventure home. But then the dog did not know witch way to go. They got lost, but then he found his tracks and they started in the right direction.

6. After an hour of walking the baby fox got tired and then they had to slow down and sit down for a half an hour. Then a big wolf stepped out of the woods and they did not see him. When they saw him they ran different directions. They wolf ran away and then the dog had to go find the baby fox.

7. The dog heard they Fox whining and then he followed the noise and found him. It got stuck in a tree trunk. After an hour of pulling he finally popped out. They started to walk again and then they herd Billy's bus coming down the street so they started to run out of the forest.

8. Once they got out of the forest they saw Billy. He was walking down the street calling the dogs name. They ran up to him and Billy was so happy to see him. They started to go into the house. Then the fox started to walk away.

9. The boy saw the little fox and went and picked him up. He said “is this your friend” to the dog. The dag barked and it meant yes. So he brought him into the house.

10. They were all friend for ever and ever.
