3 Statistics say: 50,000 bacteria per square inch Some are healthy and some aren’t Our bodies need some bacteria

4 Why do we wash our hands in the first place?  Prevent illness and the spread of infection  To protect ourselves and others  To teach others to be clean

5 When should you wash your hands?  Before and after preparing food  After going to the bathroom  After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing

6 How to properly wash your hands. 1. Wet 2. Lather 3. Scrub 4. Rinse 5. Dry

7 What is the difference between soap and water and hand sanitizer?  Hand sanitizers are necessarily a cleaner  Gets bacteria off not dirt  Its good when you don’t have soap and water available.

8 How many of us use cell phones?!

9 From The Oatmeal Quiz  They asked just every day questions.  There is currently 1,213,380 germs living on my phone.  That’s the equivalent of 243 toilet seats!

10 Wash your hands!!  Use hand sanitizer or soap and water!  Something is better than nothing.  Stop spreading and start protecting.
