4 Lesson 3 Teacher demonstrates counting plastic monkeys (different arrangement) on Elmo ‘Think aloud’ good counting techniques Provide cups with different amounts of plastic monkeys in – Have students practice counting and checking each other’s * Ask ‘What was different today?’ 4
