10 IFC FY06 Power Sector Investments  IFC's Infrastructure Department did $360M in 10 power sector investments in FY06  Renewables- Four projects totaling $87.45M involved RE  Of the six remaining projects totaling $272.6M two are natural gas-fired power generation & two are diesel  IFC's financing is not supporting Greenfield coal-fired power generation capacity  Used for retrofitting existing coal-fired power plants with flue gas desulphurization equipment to reduce pollution.
