4. Description Research of case study teams – Innovation in ICT services in the informal economy of Senegal – Telephone banking in South Africa – Farmer initiated crop innovation in KwaZulu-Natal – User innovation in firms in Maputo Province, Mozambique

5. Outcomes Capacity building – A new cohort of researchers able to respond to a Call for Proposals, to conduct research, analyse data and to prepare reports for publication. Not all of these capacities can be attributed to the project. Some were there before. 6. Future Prospects Project influenced IDRC in its creation of a new programme: Inclusive Innovation for Development (IID) – IDRC will have a meeting on IID after Globelics – The plan would be to develop a proposal for a new project based on this as part of IID Michiko and Mulu can comment
