2 Wardown Park was once the (very large) garden for Wardown House. The house is now one of the two Luton museums. © Luton Culture 2015

3 In 1903 the owners decided to sell the house and park. One option was to sell off parts of the estate for new houses. Building on the park isn’t a new idea. In the end it was bought by Luton council.

5 The basic Planning Permission form – 10 pages long! There are lots more forms to fill in after these.

6 The Park now – we will be going out into the park to conduct our surveys: Traffic Environmental Amenities Population

7 Create your bar graph Look at your data: What is the highest number you need to chart What information do you want on the side axis? What information do you want on the bottom axis?

8 Create your posters Your Poster must include: Your graph An explanation of what you did and how you did it Your Poster could include: Pictures Any thoughts on your results Your quadrat survey results if you have any
