1 God spoke to Mary (through an angel):
“You will be with child….” God spoke to Joseph (in a dream through an angel): “Take Mary home as your wife.” God spoke to the shepherds (through angels): “Today in the city of David, a Savior has been born to you.”

“out of the blue.” God spoke to Joseph in response to his dilemma.

3 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways.

7 When you want God to “solve” your dilemma:
Make sure you’re already following His voice in the Bible. Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119:105) Seek godly advice. Plans fail for lack our counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. (Proverbs 15:22) Ask God to tell you what to do! If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5)

8 Trust that God still speaks “out of the blue. ” Be open to that
Trust that God still speaks “out of the blue.” Be open to that. Invite that. Trust that God still speaks into our dilemmas. Listen for His voice in the Bible and through other people, but believe that He can speak to you in your situation.
