Introduction to MVT Development Co Ltd
MVT Developments was formed to build homes in Thailand and to expand to development and construction of homes and in other countries. The antecedent company (MIVAN(Thailand) Ltd) (see origins) was restricted to construction in Thailand. The experience gained in the use of Aluminium System Formwork was the springboard to the launch of MVT Development.
The use of Aluminium System Formwork (see Technology) exactly complies to the requirement of all quality systems, every unit is built in exactly the same way. It also conforms to efficient practice by people carrying out the same tasks in the same order every day, as you might find on a factory shop floor. It reduces the number of architectural elements by using monolithic building practice.
The quality built into structures by MVT Development is the key to providing a lower cost of ownership of building by minimal costs of maintenance and longevity of the buildings.

2. MVT Development origins
The roots of the company go back 30 years to Iraq where MIVAN Antrim had contracts to build 3 storey condominium blocks in Saddhiya, Iraq.
The now Chairman of MVT Developments, Mrs Chodchoi Pongpairoj. provided the construction workers and management team for the projects.
In 1993 MIVAN came to Thailand and MIVAN (Thailand) Ltd was formed with Mrs Chodchoi as Chairman

In 1997 MIVAN (Thailand) Ltd became a wholly owned Thai company owned by members of Mrs Chodchoi Pongpairoj’s family.
