3.3 Angles Formed by Transversals Pg 123

Transversal: A transversal is a line that intersects two or more coplanar lines at different points. Transversal

Corresponding Angles: Corresponding angles are two angles that are formed by two lines and a transversal, and occupy corresponding positions.

Alternate Interior Angles: Alternate Interior Angles are two angles that are formed by two lines and a transversal, and lie between the two lines on the opposite sides of the transversal.

Alternate Exterior Angles: Alternate exterior angles are two angles that are formed by two lines and a transversal, and lie outside the two lines on the opposite sides of the transversal

Same-Side Interior Angles: Same-side interior (sometimes called consecutive interior angles) are two angles formed by two lines and a transversal, and lie between the two lines on the same side of the transversal.
